What $34.99 includes
Every song costs the same, whatever the occasion, the style or the length of your story. Nothing is held back for an extra fee.
- The full song, usually 2 to 2½ minutes, as an MP3 you keep and can play anywhere.
- A private gift page with their name, who it is from, the player and the lyrics, to send by text or email or open together.
- The lyrics, written from your story, which you can edit line by line before any music is made.
- Up to 3 guided rewrites of the lyrics before the music: more emotional, funnier, shorter, their name more often, or a detail we missed.
- The free preview: the first 45 seconds of the real song, before you pay anything.
- Our promise: remake or refund within 7 days, explained below.
How the free 45-second preview works
Answer a few questions about them (about 3 minutes), read the lyrics we write from your answers, and change anything you like. When you are happy with the words, confirm your email with a 6-digit code and we make the music. The preview is the first 45 seconds of your actual song, sung with their name, not a demo of someone else's.
The preview needs no card and no account, only the email we send its private link to. Each email address gets one free preview; after you buy a song you can make another. If it is not right, you walk away and it costs you nothing.
How long it takes
A song started this evening can be played tonight: there is no queue for a singer and no extra charge to rush it. Here is where the time goes:
- Questions: about 3 minutes.
- Lyrics: under a minute, free.
- Preview: usually 5–10 minutes after you confirm your email, sometimes a little longer when it is busy. You can close the page: we email you the link when it is ready.
- Full song: right after you pay. The whole song is already made when you hear the preview, so the MP3 and the gift page unlock on the same page with no second wait.
Remake or refund within 7 days
Don't love your song? Tell us within 7 days of buying it and we remake it free, for example with corrected pronunciation or changed lyrics. Still not right? We refund you in full, including any tax you paid, to the card or payment method you used. The same promise is in our terms of service, and you reach us through the contact page.
If their name sounds wrong in the preview, you do not have to buy first: tell us how it should sound and we remake the preview free.
Tax and how you pay
$34.99 is the price before tax. Sales tax or VAT is added where it applies, and checkout shows it before you pay. Payment runs through Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page, and Link (a Stripe company) is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, collects the tax and sends your receipt, so your statement shows LINK.COM. We never see your card details.
It is a one-time payment for one song, not a subscription and not credits. No coupon codes, no countdown, no crossed-out price: this is the price for everyone.
