What we offer
The Personalized Song (thepersonalizedsong.com) makes personalized songs from your answers. By using the site you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older to buy a song.
Made with AI
Songs are made with artificial intelligence: a language model writes the lyrics from your answers, and an AI music model composes the music and sings it. No human musician performs your song. We tell you this before you pay, and the gift page says so too.
The free preview
The lyrics and a 45-second preview are free. To get the preview you confirm an email address with a 6-digit code, and we send its private link there. Each email address gets one free preview (versions of the same address, such as with a +tag, count as one); after you buy that song you can make another. Free previews are also limited per browser and per network each day to keep the service affordable.
Price and payment
A song costs $34.99, plus sales tax or VAT where it applies, paid once. It is not a subscription. Payment is processed by Stripe through Stripe Managed Payments, on Stripe's own checkout page. Link (a Stripe company) is the merchant of record for every order: it takes the payment, calculates and collects sales tax or VAT, which is shown and added at checkout before you pay, and sends your receipt. Your card statement shows the charge from LINK.COM. We never see or store your card details. After payment you get the full song as an MP3, a private gift page, and the lyrics. There is no extra fee to download.
Our promise: remake or refund
Don't love your song? Tell us within 7 days of buying it at support@thepersonalizedsong.com and we will remake it free, for example with corrected pronunciation or changed lyrics. Still not right? We refund you in full, including any tax you paid, to the card or payment method you used.
What you may do with your song
You may keep your song, play it at private events (birthdays, weddings, church services, parties), share it with family and friends, and post it on your personal social media accounts. You may not sell it, license it, or use it in advertising or commercial products. Songs made purely by AI may not be protected by copyright, so we do not promise exclusive ownership; we do promise not to sell or publish your song ourselves.
What you send us
You are responsible for what you write in your answers. Do not include anything you do not have the right to share, anything hateful or harassing, or the names of celebrities or real artists to imitate. We may refuse to make a song that breaks these rules.
Availability
We try to deliver every song within minutes, but the AI models we use may sometimes fail or be slow. If a song fails, you can try again for free. We may change or discontinue features; songs you bought stay available through their links.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the song concerned.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page, with its date, is the one that applies.
